Valentines Preparing

### The Beauty of Solo Entrepreneurship: Preparing for Valentine’s Day in My Flower Shop

As Valentine’s Day approaches, the atmosphere in my flower shop I feel like the shop is messy, cluttered and with filled with determination, excitement and a hint of nervous energy. Running a flower shop solo is no small feat, especially during one of the busiest seasons of the year, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.

There’s something magical about the floral world— every arrangement is a work of art. As I stand surrounded by a symphony of colors and fragrances, I feel happy and determined to create beautiful bouquets that will help my customers express their love and affection.

### Embracing the Busy Season

In the days leading up to Valentine’s Day, my schedule becomes a whirlwind of long days and flowers, one after the other. Designing stunning arrangements, every task is essential to ensure my shop is ready for the influx of customers looking for the perfect gift. I’ve found that planning is key, so I’ve organized my supplies, drafted a detailed list of to dos, ordered arrangements, and even designated a special section of the shop for Valentine’s displays.

Each morning starts early, and every night goes later and later into the late of the night. At the end of it I am exhausted and question my life choices due to lack of sleep. As I dive deeper into preparations, I feel grateful for this passion-fueled journey. Once I get past all of that, I am able to appreciate the work I did and what I made, and love that it is all me. It is a moment of appreciation and pride I have, and get to experience, that not many other people do; and I do not take it for granted. Even though I have to remind myself of this every now and then.

Happy Valentine’s Day! ❤️
