Going into the new year, of course I set “ a resolution “, of all the things I will do differently; but of course I am already a hot mess,…..so not so much has changed! But I am not and have never just given up on anything I have wanted; and I will not now. I personally have never felt that is trait I should give up as the years have changed.
But I am giving up my resolution. You see, I heard something that made more sense to me; that sounded better to me, and made more sense. I am not and will not make a New Year’s resolution, I am making a new years goal! I am going to make a goal to reach for the year, I am going to set goals, and task, and accomplishments for my year.
It is funny to me that the simplest of word changes the perspective, the feeling, and the determination, and my mindset. Maybe it is me, but the word “goal”, is substantially more empowering than resolution, it is more determined to accomplish than resolution.
So my New Year’s Goal….
maintain consistency in my work place and task, such as clean as I go and keep up the small things so they do not pile up.
Be more profitable….(I suppose that is probably anybody and everyone’s goal) but for me, I know I tended to purchase additional items, with the th Guthrie of production.
Stay focused on the task at hand. Stick to the my primary job and production then and only then, I can move towards all other side jobs and hobbies I want to build.
DO NOT SPEND FRIVOLOUS!
Walk
Eat Better
And all the other personal etc……
Here is to the new GOALS, and to my determination and strength to stay positive, keep moving forward, and not going down, “ out of business “ without doing everything possible to keep working!!!!
