if I am being honest, I had a pretty slow fall time. When I acquired the business the previous owners knew an average of orders for the holiday season, such as thanksgiving centerpieces; you know the old school tapered candles that burn down placed in the center of flowers that was set in the center of your thanksgiving dinner, or the cornucopias that would accent the holiday. I really have not seen a lot of those orders. I wonder is it due to being an unnecessary cost at this time or is it due being to old school? But if it is old school isn’t “old school” consider vintage and isn’t “ vintage” in-style? Just a thought
needless to say it was slow, but I am not complaining, I actually had a decent Halloween month. Which is funny considering the previous owners said October was typically slow, that Halloween is not typically not a flower holiday. So I feel really fortunate that I have managed to gain customers for my Halloween works.
No matter what I find myself worrying about my work. Did I do good? Did I do enough? Did I loose my product’s?? I wonder if I will ever get the hang of this?
I am determined to keep making it better especially in 2024!
