Being proud & secure in your work

Being proud & secure in your work

I am proud and everything I do and make there’s not one thing that I do not let leave my shop without it meeting my own expectations of something I would want to pay for. I believe that’s a way to run a successful business you’re not being cheap you’re not over pricing for your client trying to rob them if it means your own personal worth and you personally know it’s something that you would want because you as a person has a tendency to want things in a certain way or a certain manner for your own self. But no matter what you can never make everyone happy .

receiving a complaint is hard not to take personally because you truly feel that you did do everything right or your own creation is something that you personally did and put together because I care so much about my work. I strongly stand proud of everything I do so when I do have a customer complaint, I do get taken back, although I should understand and respect that others have their own opinion and their own perspective, that not everybody is just going to love everything I do all the time I have to realize that each creation in my opinion is viewed and can be a work of art and like art not everybody likes everything. I never have and never did like Salvador Dolly. My dad loved his work. I don’t like Pop art but I know it’s a big deal so I have to understand that just because this person didn’t like what I made it’s not necessarily saying that my work is bad. It just does not fit their style and their own personal feelings. My husband has pointed out that sometimes it seems as if I get defensive because I view it as how dare they not like what I made, and he’s defended the fact that they are entitled to their own opinion and that what I do and everything I’ve done does not make it was perfect .
